Adding all of the features of Standard and Pro, the Business edition adds SSO/SAML support for licensing. For IT managers looking to deploy Windows support across their fleet of Macs, these features will dramatically simplify the process of provisioning licenses. Included SSO providers are Azure AD, Okta, Ping, and more. IT administrators can also deploy, provision, or transfer a Windows 11 virtual machine across employee computers. Finally, it allows teams to centrally manage their Parallels customer experience program participation in a single portal.
I am on a MacBook Pro 2021 M1 Max chip (not intel) and am using a virtual machine through Parallels to use Revit 2022. Everything was working properly until last week. I started getting the "licensing manager is not functioning properly..." message and I found the article that lists all the troubleshooting options. I've done everything on the list twice. Even clean uninstalled every Autodesk item on my machine. The only thing I haven't done is uninstall/reinstall Parallels. I work from home and had to ask my dad to borrow his desktop Windows PC and download Revit there. It immediately gave me the same error and the first thing I did was download the update to the licensing manager and boom, it worked. So that leads me to believe the reason my machine won't resolve the issue is because its a Mac running a VM. I am so stressed and am about ready to pull my hair out. I wish Autodesk would just come out with a version of Revit for Mac. 99% of my life problems would disappear.

Please note that the Weill Cornell Medical College has its own arrangement in place with Microsoft, and is not covered by the Campus Agreement. Weill Cornell staff and faculty should check with their local IT providers for information about Microsoft licensing.

I have installed ArcMap 10.3.1 on my Desktop and I am trying to initialize and open it. I keep getting an error message that reads, "Could not connect to an ArcGIS License manager running on host 'Not_Set'". I am using a Mac and running the program in a parallels application with Windows 7, is this my problem? Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
Admittedly, this is the most expensive way to run Word, Excel, and Powerpoint on a Mac. You have to pay for the Microsoft 365 subscription, Parallels (either one-time or subscription), Windows 10 or Windows 11 licensing, and you have to pay for Mac hardware that is capable of running two OSes at once (my 2019 27-inch iMac has a 6-core processor with 24GB of RAM).
Products released after 1/1/2018, such as On-Screen Takeoff/Digital Production Control version 3.95 and higher and Quick Bid version 4.97 and higher can be licensed using local or license manager licenses. The environment where Windows is running is no longer considered as there are other safeguards to prevent unauthorized distribution of licenses. On Center may update previous (lower numerically) versions of some products to utility the new Cloud-based licensing system. Check each product's Release Notes by clicking on a product button above to view the product information page where you can view current and previous version information.
Products released prior to 12/31/2017, such as On-Screen Takeoff/Digital Production Control version 3.94.02.21 and lower and Quick Bid version 4.96.0.12 and earlier cannot use "local" licenses when installed in any virtual environment. To license these versions in any virtual environment, you will need to use a network (license manager) license. Enterprise License Manager (ELM) is only supported on Windows machines, the system requirements vary a little, based on whether you are installing the license manager on a physical server or on a virtual Windows server. Review the System Requirements for your licensing system before you try to use older versions of On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, or Digital Production Control on a MAC. 2ff7e9595c
